[EVE - 2nd iClone 6 Animation Test Short]

the camera panning is awful, at 0:44 is a good example, the way it goes in one direction and then sways to show the other female next to the guy

also a pet peeve of mine in movies is when the villains have the hero cornered and they dont shoot, it breaks my suspension of disbelief

Actually, totally agree on all counts. The odd camera movements were to cover some of the odder birs of animation.. Even making her walk ariind a corner was a pain in the butt..haha...so i would call those issues a learning moment and move on. I painfully delayed the action to experiment with the interaction..and i was winging it...but i hate that as well...i appreciate your honest eval and wiil look to leave the clichés at door with my next outing ..also will keep it shorter, focused and try not to break suspension

I know. I tried to compressing it like crazy and it is still too big or it does not read well. I can't figure out why. It reads better on mobile. Still trying to fix the issue.I suck with After Effects.

I like the animations, I dont like however are the sound effects and music uses sometimes
for example the music when the girl turned into a vampire sounded awful
Its hard to put into words what it is that I dont like, so sorry for not going into more detail or giving more examples

Thanks for feedback! And yeah, this was one of the first attempts to make sfx for a cartoon, so there was little experience on this matter.

You should work on the running cycle, I think you could have done a better job
and as the other guy pointed out, they should have had different running cycles, it started to stand out around the 4th runner that they were all same

You should learn how to edit sounds, put in an effect or edit the fitness gram (or whatever that running shit was) so its sounds like its muffled and actually sounds like its coming from the headphones.
Give your cartoons more substance. This cartoon has nothing really going on and the punchline wasn't that good. Maybe add a couple a scenes where the other two character find out what he is listening to and react to it? I dont know just give something more that what you have already
also mouths dont move like that, give the mouth movment more frames so they dont go that fast
